 Greetings, friends – Let me tell you a bit about the IRIE BOOGIE...it started at my lodge on the top of Bear Butte, in Southern HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA five Octobers ago, when my dear friend Garth and I moved in, looked out at the view and immediately knew - - this glorious experience of nature and life had to be celebrated!  The feeling was contagious and our 2 buds, Marisa and Karrin, along with a supportive group of old and new friends came quickly into the fold and the Boogie's spectrum grows brighter and broader from each person's involvement.  The mission is a collective one, to BRING THE PEOPLE TOGETHER AND UPLIFT THEIR SPIRITS! Last year, the party left its home and moved to the Southern Humboldt COMMUNITY PARK in Garberville, CA and this year's 5th ANNUAL event will donate its profits to improving and caring for the park's land.  We invite you to participate in this year's theme: "EMBRACE THE MYSTERY" It's an all day/all night party on over 40 serene acres of meadows and oak trees, spiced up with live local music, henna, face painting, breakdancers, hoola hoping, a group toast, firedancing, djs, and beyond – FAMILIES WELCOME! At night we'll move into the barn to dance to reggae/electronic/world beats………mingle with new friends and old, and party freely and responsibly.  IDs REQUIRED AT THE DOOR. Be cool and bring a cup, a plate, and a utensil in a little bag so we can leave the park as it was first created – PURE. Dress yourself in your WILDEST ATTIRE and explore your inner wizard, goddess, butterfly, rastaman!  The IRIE BOOGIE is waiting for you to bring your freakiest, funnest, truest self and .......Embrace the Mystery! PEACE LOVE and POSITIVITY from your fellow Irie-ites! p.s.
