Traditional
astrologists believed that Trines, particularly Grand Trines,
were lucky, very good aspects. The energy flows smoothly in a
trine. Sometimes the energy of a trine can flow so smoothly that
everyone goes to sleep (ho hum, everything nice, nighty night)?but
in the case of the patterns of this Irie Boogie, there is enough
sparkle keeping the fire passions directed (mostly into the realm
of exploration, partnership, figuring out what harmony, justice,
and delight all really mean).
This
should be a fun energy for partying, and in particular for physical
stuff (lots of dancing!) as well as for conversations and a sense
of sharing and unity.
There's
a sense of physical power, of ?hey, we can do anything at all!?
during this trine period (which is gonna last the whole time of
the boogie).
There
is also, however, in the day's chart, a t square to Jupiter in
Scorpio. This pattern, which has challenges as well as benefits,
combines an opposition from Saturn to Neptune with squares from
each planet to Jupiter. Saturn is in Leo, Neptune in Aquarius.
Now,
the oppositions going on during this period are really interesting.
Saturn/Neptune challenges everyone to be in touch with both the
Neptunian sense of ?ah, we're going to really just float off into
idealism and theory and fun? and the Saturn need to get some structure
going.
The
square to Jupiter is all about : okay, let's have a whole lot
of hope and fun and delight?but we need to be responsible and
responsive.
At
the official time of 4:20 that energy is focused to the 9th house:
theories and exploration, learning and spirit.
And
the ?Self? of the event (which would be our Libra Sun) is in the
8th house. An 8th house Sun position is all about how one connects
deeply to others and to the universe as a whole, what one shares
at the deepest, most primal level. (this is the natural Scorpio
house).
That
Self is modified by affection and action, being flanked by Mars
and Venus. This would bode very well for a time during which pleasure
and concern can be united. The Libra three trine Neptune, so they
all bear a great deal of intuition and compassion: bodes very
well for a time during which people feel their bonds of love,
friendship, and shared ideals.
The
Irie Boogie is dancing along during a time of the sun/moon opposition,
a full moon. During such times one is challenged to somehow unite
and express the very different sides of one's nature. With an
Aries/Libra opposition, the two sides might be something like
individuality and the need for active
assertion (Aries) and concern for justice and partnership and
sharing (Libra). Anything that can combine those two threads is
sure to go very well.
At
the 4:20PM time, the moon is in the house of what is valued, of
what is treasured, of what is most important (this can also be
the house of material wealth, so perhaps there is simply an abundance
of nice things around). This is an Aries house at this moment:
activity is important, leadership is important, jumping about
and having fun is great.
With
Saturn in Leo in the 7th house, at this time it is very important
to honor partnerships (of whatever sort), to give credit where
credit is do, to lavishly admire and generously support those
who matter to you.
With
Neptune at the ascendant at 4:20, there's an element of ?it can
be all things to all people??illusion, magic, projection, delight.
There's
very little Earth energy in the chart for the day and evening.
One could balance this by making certain there are grounded and
grounding activities happening, or that people with strong Earth
charts of their own are key (Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn).
(Perhaps everyone needs a pet rock to care for, or mud to play
in, or something)
Communications
during the event, though there is a hell of a lot of intellectual
stuff going on (Libra is very intellectual), are going to tend
to be more emotionally expressive than not; even sentimental.
Mercury is in Scorpio and is trine Uranus in Pisces. It is also
likely to be intuitive, spacey, and original. A good night for
dancing and for poetry.
Women's
energy, goddess energy, is very strong during this period, as
the asteroids Juno and Vesta flank Black Moon Lilith. It is very
important that the importance of strong female energy be respected.
(this can be the ?female? energy within men as well)
By
9:20 PM the Libra energy and all that goddess energy are going
to be playing pretty wildly within the house of falling in love
and creativity and fun. Should be an excellent time?but the Moon
will be floating through the 12th house, so for those who are
strong Fire people, or who have a lot of fire energy in their
charts (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)?watch for moodiness (laugh it
out or dance it free).
Be
certain to remember that caring for others is caring for oneself;
there may be people who are in need of some emotional support?others
need to be sensitive to this. (Especially likely to be Aquarians
in this category, or people with strong Aquarius aspects in their
natal charts).
Earlier
in the day, a little after noon, a lot of energy will be focused
on ?how does all this look?? ?is it coming together well??. Think
about communication and message as you go through this period
and everything should work out fine.
If
anyone is still up around 3 in the morning on Oct 8, they will
be under a Taurus Moon, not Aries, and feeling a bit more sensual,
a bit more sensitive, perhaps a bit more dogmatic. Watch for motional
insecurities at this time, particularly in the home, or in the
inner place in which one feels at home. The whole concept of ?what's
home? can you go home?? etc becomes key. Anyone still awake is
likely to be chatty, with Mercury conjunct Jupiter in the 3rd
house (maybe confessing secrets).
Looks
to be a lively and fulfilling event! Fire sign people will feel
right at home, but everyone should be having a lot of fun. |
